由复旦大学管理学院与麻省理工学院斯隆管理学院联合创立的China Lab企业咨询项目于2008年成立，旨在为两校MBA学生提供一个在中国创业型公司共同合作、解决问题的平台。该项目科学地结合了传统课堂式商科教育模式以及先进的市场实践学习模式，MBA学生通过跨国访问与合作，增加其国际阅历及在商业领域的实践能力。
每个项目团队包括4-5名成员，2-3名来自复旦大学，2名来麻省理工学院，项目成员均具有专业工作背景和管理经验，包括咨询管理业、金融服务业、制造业和服务运营等。China
Lab团队成员将合作为客户公司解决企业运营中遇到的实际问题；在两院老师的指导下为企业提供市场战略、商业计划和竞争分析报告等。

项目流程
|
|
China Lab企业咨询项目为期4个月，包括三个阶段：
|
→3月，项目启动，中美学生组成团队，在客户公司开展两周左右的现场工作；
→4月，中方学生赴美访问、学习一周，完成项目的完整咨询报告；
→6月，各团队将通过网络等远程通讯手段，深化分析数据，针对企业在创业方面的重要问题
提出报告，学生通过课程评估获得相应的学分。

 An old saying
says: “two heads is better than one”, so what is the result of five MBA candidate
heads coming from different backgrounds and culture meeting together to solve a
real problematic in enterprise… a wonderful experience, in two words: China-Lab.
These three months of ongoing project had been rich of special experiences and when
I look back, I realize all the work we succeed to accomplish. Our “Skype” meetings,
which enabled us to overpass the distance and continue to work closely together
in two different countries, have marked my memories for ever. To conclude, I would
like to encourage the future corporations that will be part of this unique project
to not be affray to challenge the MBA candidates on the real issues they live and
not hesitate to put pressure on critical importance of their results.

 China Lab is
an exciting experience for all of us, for the first time in my life I visited Boston
and attend classes in top MBA like MIT Sloan's. Unfortunately, I hurt my foot just
before departure to US. I am depressed since I could not even work by myself. However,
I fortunately met with all my wonderful team members, and they took great care of
me. Larry even helped me to borrow a wheel chair in US. I appreciated all of them

 The MIT-Fudan
China Lab program is one of the most innovative and memorable part of my MBA experience.
The program provides participants the opportunity to simulate a real-life global
working environment – the challenges of coordination, the international scope, and
diverse work teams. In addition, China Lab allows students to make distinctive impact
to their client companies facing crossroads in their business – by focusing on small
or relatively younger companies, the project gives students sufficient timeframe,
responsibility, and access to leaders to come up with recommendations that will
eventually be used by the client. Lastly, working with International MBA students
in China gives a more vibrant perspective of the project.

 Shanghai
was an amazing place. The dynamism of the city was obvious to see, and I immediately
liked being there. My team on the GMT project (Khai Tou, Esco, Joshua and Larry)
got along like old friends, and we were able to debate and joke around the whole
week. The company (Shanghai GMT) was most accommodating to us, and really made us
feel welcome. A highlight for me was visiting a client of GMT's in Wuxi. I'd never
seen a modern garment factory before with all the different lines working to make
Levis jeans - quick an experience. I hope that the report we gave to GMT has enabled
them to service their clients like that more effectively.
