Chair: Professor ZHENG Ming
The discipline of Statistics was initiated in 1983, being one of the earliest who provided mathematical statistics education for undergraduates in China. The department has 10 faculty members, including 4 full professors, 3 associate professors, and 3 lecturers. The department is able to grant Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree and Doctoral Degree. The students have to be able to professionally solve real-world problems in fields of financing, insurance, industrial statistics and biostatistics, based on their solid foundation of knowledge on Management and Statistics.
