As one of the longest-existing department at FudanUniversity, the Department of Business Administration was originated from the Department of Industrial and Commercial Management created in 1920 and later transferred to the Department of Business Administration in 1993. Currently, the department has a Ph.D. program in Business Administration, two MPHIL programs in Business Administration and International Business respectively, and one Bachelor’s Degree program of Business Administration. Currently, there are 19 faculty members working at the department, including 9 full professors, 6 associate professors and 4 lecturers.

The department is to prepare students with essential skills in modern business management as an all-round management talent; backed with internationalized education standards, the department is to equip the students with understandings of international business, modern technological means, as well as a global vision in order to satisfy the needs of enterprises as today.
