The Department of Financial Management was established in 1993, the succession to the discipline of Finance in the Department of Economic Management. There are 17 faculty members working in the department, including 7 full professors, 9 associate professors and 1 lecturer.

The department provides Chrematistics program for undergraduate students, and specialized Financial Management program for MPHIL candidates in Business Administration field. Students are required to be familiarized with theories and practice of financing in China and overseas regarding its history, status quo and the trend of future development, to understand financing-related laws, regulations and policies, before becoming an all-round player with profound knowledge in financing theories and modern financial concepts, who is able to carry out business by means of advanced financial technologies.
